The Rt Hon Vicky Ford MP has served as the MP for Chelmsford since 2017. From 2021-2022 she was Minister for Africa, Latin America and Caribbean in the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, and Minister for Development attending Cabinet. She has served on a number of different select committees.
From 2009 to 2017 Vicky was a Conservative Member for the European Parliament. Amongst other roles, she chaired the Internal Market Committee of the European Parliament.
